Meet Kathy – Licensed Aesthetician & Founder of Skin Confidence By Kathy It’s my pleasure to introduce myself. I’m Kathy, a licensed aesthetician with over a decade of hands-on experience helping clients achieve healthy, radiant skin—and the confidence that comes with it. My passion for skincare goes far beyond surface-level beauty. With a strong foundation in clinical aesthetics and an intuitive, consultative approach, I specialize in creating customized treatment plans that are results-driven and tailored to your unique needs. These guidelines are in place to respect both your time and ours. • Appointment Confirmation Please confirm your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. Changes or cancellations must also be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled service. • Unconfirmed Appointments Appointments not confirmed at least 12 hours before the scheduled time will be subject to a 100% charge of the service price. For clients on a treatment series/package, one session will be deducted. • Late Cancellations Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the service price. Clients with a treatment series will forfeit one session. • No-Shows and Same-Day Cancellations Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, or canceling on the day of the service, will result in a 100% charge of the service price. One session will also be deducted from any existing series/package. • Late Arrivals Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late you may need to reschedule. Please understand the time was reserved for you and it is extremely difficult to fill that time slot with little notice. Repeated cancellations, rescheduled appointments, and/or no-shows appointments will require 50% pre-payment fee before scheduling an appointment. I understand people get sick and/or emergencies occur. I will do my best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. Thank you for understanding. I do document the occurrences to prevent abuse of the policy. **Please remember when you are scheduled for a session at Skin Confidence By Kathy make sure you have not been treated with Botox/and or Facial fillers, 14 days prior for Botox and 21 days for Facial Fillers. Please also coordinate your facial appointment and your injection appointment to avoid having to cancel your appointment with us. If you cancel 48 hours prior to your appointment and/or come in and you have received any of these cosmetic treatments and it’s in the time frame stated above, I will not be able to treat your skin. There will be a 100% service fee charged and I will have to reschedule your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide exceptional service to all clients. If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. To ensure the highest quality of care and safety, we kindly ask all clients to review the following policies: • Medical Conditions & Allergies Please inform your esthetician of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities that may require special attention. Certain conditions may be contraindicated for treatment and may necessitate a delay or denial of service. • Pregnancy Notification If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, please notify us in advance. A medical clearance note from your OB-GYN is required in order to receive facial treatments or purchase skincare products during this time. • Communication If you need to reach us and we are with a client or unavailable, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number. We will return your call as soon as possible. • Guests For your safety and comfort, we are unable to accommodate guests, including children, in the treatment room during services. • Package Policy All treatment packages must be paid in full on the day of your first session. To achieve optimal results, the series must be completed within the recommended time frame. Unused sessions are non-refundable. If the series is not completed, you may be charged the difference between the discounted package and the full price of services used. This charge will be applied to the credit card on file. • Service Disclaimer All services are for cosmetic and beautification purposes only. No medical claims are made, and individual results may vary. • Product Returns Due to health regulations, skincare products cannot be returned or exchanged. • Refund Policy There are no refunds for services rendered. Services and packages are non-transferable and may not be shared with others. • Gift Certificates Electronic and physical gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash, including unused portions. • Payment Processing Fee All credit and debit card transactions are subject to a 3.5% processing fee. *Consent Forms Required forms and waiver consents must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in the need to reschedule your appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Spa Policies To ensure every client receives quality service and uninterrupted care, the following policies are in place. By booking an appointment, you agree to all terms listed below. Appointments & Deposits A $100 deposit is required for all new clients All series packages require a 50% scheduling fee on the day appointments are booked. Packages must be paid in full on the day of your first session. When booking online, if you do not receive a confirmation text and email within 5 minutes, please contact us immediately at (201) 921-0135 to avoid appointment confusion, no-show fees, or late cancellation charges. Cancellations, Confirmations & No-Shows Please provide 48 hours’ notice if you need to make any changes or cancellations. Appointments not confirmed 12 hours prior will be charged 100% of the service fee. Series clients will lose one session from their package. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will be charged 100% of the service fee. Series clients will lose one session. Non-confirmed, no-show, and same-day cancellations will result in a 100% service charge. Series clients will lose one session. Clients 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment. Repeated cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows will require a 50% pre-payment fee before booking future appointments. We understand that emergencies and illness occur. While grace is given for true emergencies, occurrences are documented to prevent policy misuse. Time is exclusively reserved for you; last-minute schedule changes make it difficult to fill your reserved slot. Treatment Requirements & Restrictions Botox and dermal fillers: Botox must be done at least 14 days prior. Fillers must be done at least 21 days prior. If you arrive having had these procedures within the restricted window, treatment cannot be performed and a 100% service fee will apply. Topicals to discontinue 5 days prior: Retinol, Retin-A, Tretinoin, Tazarac, Benzoyl Peroxide, AHA’s, BHA’s, or any RX topical. Medical conditions & allergies must be disclosed before your service. Some conditions may require postponing or denying treatment for your safety. If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or newly pregnant, please notify us. A medical clearance note from your OB/GYN is required for facials or skincare purchases. All services are for beautification purposes only and no medical claims are made. Results vary for each individual. Series Packages Series must be completed within the recommended timeframe to achieve optimal results. Incomplete series are non-refundable. If the series is not completed as recommended, you may be charged the difference between the discounted package price and individual service pricing, charged to the card on file. Series sessions cannot be shared with another person. Studio Policies Guests, including children, cannot be accommodated inside the treatment room. If you call while we are with another client, please leave your name and number and we will return your call as soon as possible. Please complete all waivers and consents through the GlossGenius confirmation email sent 72 hours prior to your appointment. Refunds, Payments & Products There are no refunds for services rendered. Due to health regulations, skincare products cannot be returned. Gift cards and electronic gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. A 3.5% processing fee is added to all debit and credit card transactions. Gratuities are always appreciated and could be given directly to your aesthetician or a checkout.
